Ten years ago to this day was September 13th, 2015. At this point in my life, I was all about Skylanders (with Skylanders Superchargers a mere week away). So, naturally, the game I considered to be my personal favorite would have been… Skylanders Trap Team. Second to that was Skylanders Spyro’s Adventure. Third, Skylanders Giants. And then all the GCN games I played growing up (Pikmin, Luigi’s Mansion, Star Fox Adventure, SSX Tricky), Pokémon (Diamond/Pearl/Platinum, HG/SS, BW), Mario 64 DS, and Wii Sports would fill the remaining top slots.

Chrono Trigger by far.

Out of the entire list I would say either Dragon Ball Xenoverse or Final Fantasy VI Mobile remake.

I would say its either Kirby Triple Deluxe, Mass Effect 2, Batman Arkham City, Assassin's Creed Revelations, Persona 4 (PS2), Kingdom Hearts 1.5, Kingdom Hearts 2.5, Uncharted 2, Kirby Squeak Squad, Final Fantasy VI Advance, Super Mario 3D World (WiiU), or Luigi's Mansion (GCN).

2015 was a great year and I played a lot of great games.

Edit: Oh you mean overall at the time? I guess Chrono Trigger. Still is.

There have been a ton of great games over the last decade, but for me, Capcom's 2005 masterpiece remains undefeated.

Back then it was Skyward Sword, which is still in my top 5.

(Though my answer would still be Skylanders Trap Team b/c I was only playing Skylanders from mid-2015 through early-2017.)

A lot of them but the original Tomb Raider is my favorite. I just want to see a remake in contemporary graphics style like that of Nicobass.

It's probably been a battle between Metal Gear Solid 2 and Final Fantasy X as long as I've known both games, with Metal Gear Solid 2 probably coming on top just slightly every time. I think I usually feel more strongly about Final Fantasy X, but if I give it a bit more thought, MGS2 wins. That game is incredible relevant and was way ahead of its time, and I guess it also helps that to me, MGS2 feels more coherent gameplay-wise. Anyway, I don't foresee the situation changing any time soon if ever, although rarely there are chances, and there are even some existing games I can see maybe having enough potential. That's a future thing for me though, not a ten-years-ago thing.
