A few data from the article:

- PlayStation 5 sales have skyrocketed at the end of April, with a strong presence of 'bundles' with accessories and games
- PS5 is 63% down YTD when compared to 2021
- Xbox Series is 57% up YTD when compared to 2021
- Meta Quest 2 sold 1.000 headsets that week,

Holy smokes. PS5 just sold half of what it had sold so far this year during one week. That's quite the burst.

Nice, a good amount of PS5's. Hopefully this lasts for at least a few weeks since it being down over 60% so far this year is super rough.

The article says "El headset VR dista mucho de alcanzar las 1.000 unidades que solía mantener semanalmente", so it probably sold quite less than that.

Anyway, good, but not great debut for Switch Sports and very good numbers for GT7 and Horizon FW due to the bundles.

As for the hardware, bad Xbox numbers for the week (maybe because people found PS5s on the stores?), good as usual Switch results and impressive PS5 numbers. Honestly, those numbers are very unexpected and came out of nowhere. Maybe there were shipping problems the prior weeks and all containers have arrived at the same time or whatever, but I'll be pleasantly surprised if PS5 manages something even close to that next week (I checked the numbers from last year and this is PS5's 5th best week in both 2021 and 2022).

Thanks for the numbers, polofresco.

Please excuse my bad English.

The article says PS5 has surpassed 33k this year. Something doesn't add up.

That's the power of available stock.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

Yay for PS5 stock.

I'm using Vandal data. It seems more reliable than the gamereactor's
