Everything I've seen so far about this makes me think that Dead Rising is heading toward its doom. I don't trust Capcom Vancouver after Dead Rising 3, and the fact that the fourth entry in the franchise is nothing but a remake of the original Dead Rising (which in consequence it'll probably ruin it even more) doesn't give me any kind of confidence.

Ever since Inafune stopped contributing, this franchise has lacked direction. They don't even know what to do anymore. And it's a shame because I absolutely adore Dead Rising 1 and 2, the former being one of the best games I've ever played.

How did Dead Rising 3 performed on the XBone? I have a hard time believing it would stay exlusive at this point, unless Microsoft paid for the exclusivity.

Looking forward to it. Dead Rising 3 was great, best one in the series. Hope they add some proper NPC / squad gameplay.

Maybe Capcom is willing to let MS have this exclusive in exchange for funding development and advertising.

When a company needs boost and has a great collection of IPs, that's what happens.

In the 6th gen each console had notable Sega exclusives.
