Ummmm...

I have no words... :|

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

What have the Norweighan's done!?

Lube Me Up

I can see that games like Starcraft is like chess or checkers with develloping tactics, react quickly to changing situations etc... but what do kids learn from counter-strike? Head shots are better? Which gun has more power? Teamwork while screaming orders and no one follows the plan? Some dude is probably getting government funding for this test and is laughing his way to the bank..

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

Excellent. A step in the right direction for sure. It won't be long now until video games become part of mandatory education.

After all, such knowledge is far more relevant today than, say, sewing.

A bit odd to see :p

Really?

Ugh. Why?

I wish they taught me how to get better at csgo in my school lol. Joking aside this isnt really educational but i can see why they would start such a thing. There are those that make millions of dollars by playing video games just like those who play sports.

It's one high school. The PR value of this class for the school is incredible - they get international news coverage.

Also, if this teaches the kids that are sidelined from most social groups the value of teamwork and practice, that's great.
