Child of Light by a mile. Visuals are gorgeous and soundtrack is awesome.

Narrative (at least in Spanish) is horrendous though.



My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

It's the same in English. The inconsistent rhyming scheme really bothered me. I still need to finish it.

OT: Shovel Knight takes it easily for me. I had so much fun playing that game.

in my opinion nothing comes close to touching shovel knight. Not just on eshop but psn and xlive as well. Child of light was nice, but i really coudn't get into it being 2d. if was like an old school 3desqe rpg like final fantasy 6, for example, then i think i would have loved it more than anything else.

1. Shovel knight (10/10 Truly delivers, and contender for my game of the year)
2. Stealth Inc 2 (Fantastic game. Deserves far more hype.)
3. Steamworld Dig (Played on 3DS, I'm assuming the Wii U versions as good)
4. Stick it to the man (Made it in my top ten adventure games list)
5. Guacamelee (Not as good as people say, but still a great game)

Edit: Child of Light was a big disapointment for me. Great art style but the core gameplay didn't live up to the visuals. Art of Balance is the only game in the poll I haven't played, but it looks fun.
