Mortal Kombat 2 all the way. I always thought the series lost its shine after that.

2D, Mortal Kombat 9 was a good game unlike the 8 games before it.
2D is when it was the best

I hated the weapons system in the 3D games. I hated people who spammed weapon attacks.

Same here. I'd really like to see another game similar to Shaolin Monks, and no, not that pos extra mode in Armageddon. That was terrible.
