Which was the better Survival Horror game?

Who would win in a fight? Leon or Joel? Ashley or Ellie? Ada or Tess?

Which were scarier? Ganado or Cordyceps?

I say The Last of Us cause fuck Ashley

But I do love RE4 though so this was close for me

While I did love "The Last Of Us" I will always have a special place for "Resident Evil 4" so that would get my vote.

Resident Evil 4 is my favorite game of all time so...

Oddly enough, RE4 is my least favorite RE mainline game and i wasnt enamored with "The last of us" because it felt disconnected and missed important staples like a final boss. RE4 i think the setting didnt sit well with me and i hated having to babysit Ashley. The whole president daughter thing was way too american themed for my tastes.

So..erm... RE code veronica and Silent Hill 2 for the win. :P

A lot of similarities between the two and Resident Evil is a gem of a game, but really nothing is better than the Last of Us. So that one gets my vote.

Never played RE4 so i'll go with TLOU.

Resident Evil 4 is superior.
Less intrusive story, better pacing, epic setpieces and bosses.

I actually enjoyed the gameplay in RE4, so that gets my vote.

Poll in this old thread, Although take it with a grain of salt because TLOU had just recently came out.
