Forums - Website Topics - "Close up pics" ad on VGChartz

I use my iPhone for browsing VGChartz and for the past ~2 months there's been a pop-up for a game in the App Store called "close up pics", which covers about 1/3 of the screen and has to been manually x-ed out of...and this appears every single time a VGChartz page is loaded. About a month ago I got tired of it and downloaded it from the App Store hoping that it would make the ad go away, but it's still ducking there! HELP

Does AdblockPlus not exist on the iOS store? I imagine it would help.

It is so damn annoying! It seems to load only after you've clicked as well, so too many times Ive clicked on a thread to only be redirected to a mess of HTML for the ad.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Yay! It's finally gone

in never noticed an ad since i got the gamepad

but i'm glad that awful thing is gone.

It's been replaced by an even worse ad for me, one that takes up the bottom 20-25% of the screen and can't be closed, and messes with scrolling a lot. Scrolling is slower than it used to be, and the screen fluctuates weirdly. It's hard to describe, but it makes using the site on a mobile device damn near impossible.

when I use Opera mini it doesn't pop up.

The bottom of the page ad is gone but now an almost constant redirect to download the app is happening. It's time to report this app and block the redirect to the App Store that keeps occurring on the ipad. If I didn't download this shit app the first 30 times it redirected me to the App Store I'm not doing so the next 30 times. What's wrong with the people who run this site? Why would you have such a blatant poor user experience?
