EGM, I am disappoint...

Brandon Justice is the Executive Editor of EGM. Four months ago he reviewed Halo 4 and now he has reviewed Aliens Colonial Marines. His reviews and scores may surprise you. If you enjoy great games and avoid mediocre ones I suggest you keep reading below to consider no longer respecting the once trusted EGM.

 

Aliens Colonial Marines

EGM loves Aliens CM, but everyone else doesn't.

Halo 4

Everyone loves Halo 4, but EGM doesn't.

 

Does EGM think every day is Opposite Day or something? Is it a joke website now with nothing but Onion like satire and we just aren't getting the joke.

It could be. I just don't see how anyone other than a huge Alien fanboy could rate Aliens CM higher than Halo 4 which is so damn good.

Two unusual scores released at different times doesn't make a major trend, especially from a reviewer with literally thousands of reviews.

The guy gave Halo 4 a 7/10. HALO 4! It's the best game of 2012 and it's only been 4 months. Aliens CM is universally being called the most disappointing game so far this year yet he gave it a 9/10.

Halo 4 is godly in all respects. He thinks Halo 4 sucks compared to Aliens CM while the rest of the responsible media says the opposite.

So, this is more about you being butt-hurt about Halo 4 getting a 7/10. I thought bolded was hilarious.

If you disagree with the bold, that's fine, but Halo 4 is a fantastic game. I'm not going to list all the great things about Halo 4. When I say the score for Aliens CM I was shocked that it got such a high review when IGN and Gamespot, etc. all agree that the game is borderline terrible. Then I remembered the last time I was shocked by an EGM review, Halo 4. Yes I love Halo 4 and I couldn't believe it got such a low score from such a big name as EGM. The content of the review is frustrating to even read by a long time Halo fan.

This is about EGM's incomprehensible review scores. I can no longer trust anything they do. Brandon Justice cannot be trusted. His opinion of games is the opposite of the majority. He is entitled to his opinion, but I am not going to listen to him or EGM anymore. This thread is to inform and warn that EGM can no longer be trusted so long as Brandon Justice is an Executive Editor.
