The upgrade rate is what the market calls it when a costomer brings in a phone and trades it for credit on a new phone. There are plenty of people who hand the old one to their kid or sell it and buy a newest one for no other reason except that you're only cool if you have the latest iPhone.

Anyone who has never considered anything but an iPhone because that's what their fanboy friend told them to buy and it was the first so they won't try anything else is what I'm calling a zombies. I pitty them.

Look at the font of my previous post, it came out that way because I googled it first then copied it from there, I wasn't sure of the spelling lol!

They should watch out, Activision tried the same kind of ploy with Guitar Hero: release more and more games every year which effectively killed the brand.

Well its just called "the new iPad" now. They can actually do as many refreshes as they want per year. The advertising is pretty simple to do and the hardcore Apple fans will buy all the new models.

I like Apple. I like my iPhone. But I think its ridiculous how fast they are pumping these things out.

Apple strategy doesnt seem the best to consumers but business is business, i guess.

They released three iPads last year. One new iPad in the beginning of the year, another new iPad at the end, then the iPad Mini. They are milking the cow dry. (As someone else said.)

After seeing both their market share and their stock prices plummet in the past year, they are getting desperate to try and not become irrelevant again.

All the iPhones are small enough already!
