Sounds about right. Apple need's it's slaves to "upgrade". Nothing like planed obsolescence to ensure your zombie fans empty their wallets for the latest thing they don't need. That's why I only keep one real Apple product around for developer purposes, but I rarely use it because my Hacintosh works better and is cheaper to maintain. Otherwise I usually follow a very "anything but Apple" approach to life. I love my Galaxy Note. If it break I'll buy the Galaxy Note 2, but the great thing about Android is it never feels out of date and there's no push to get you to throw an Android away for a slightly different "new" model.

Please keep in mind that the above comment was made by a man who considers The Great and Powerfull Woz (Steve Wozniak) a personal tech hero. The Apple I was his glorious gift to the world and the Apple ][ is the single most important achievement in computing ever made. Apple has not invented ANYTHING truly new since Woz left the company so many years about.

Long Live Woz!

lol, it's 2013 ffs, Apple fanboys or "slaves" aren't the only people Apple sells their iphone, ipad etc to. Majority of the sales aren't upgrades, get with the times internet tough guy.

The upgrade rate is what the market calls it when a costomer brings in a phone and trades it for credit on a new phone. There are plenty of people who hand the old one to their kid or sell it and buy a newest one for no other reason except that you're only cool if you have the latest iPhone.

Anyone who has never considered anything but an iPhone because that's what their fanboy friend told them to buy and it was the first so they won't try anything else is what I'm calling a zombies. I pitty them.
