Yes, it will help Obama. 4 9.76%

Yes, it will help Romney. 12 29.27%

Yes, but it won't help o... 10 24.39%

No, it won't have any effect at all. 15 36.59%

Total:41

Halo 4 one of the most anticiapted videogame releases of the year comes out on election day in the U.S. Million of people are expected to purchase the game day one but do you think the game will keep a segment of the electorate away from the polls. If so who do you think this help/hurt in the election?

I don't think it will affect the elections. If someone who is going to get the game is interested in voting, that person could just buy the game and then vote, or vice versa. If the person wasn't going to vote in the first place then it really doesn't matter. Besides people who are going to get Halo 4 and not vote just because of the game will be the minority, compare to the rest of the U.S that is.

This could be bad for Obama if all the democrats buy Halo and forget to vote!

I'm not getting my copy till Thursday, so it wont be affecting my turnout.

Don't be silly, only people over the age of 18 can vote.

No, if someone decides to play a video game instead of vote, I seriously doubt they ever intended to vote in the first place

Somebody had to say it! Better me than someone who actually means it. In truth, Metroid Pri Halo 4 is looking more and more like GOTY, especially after the moderately disappointing reception of both RE6 and AC3.

RE6 got a  "moderately dissappointing?" reception?

I think it will have two effects that will cancel each other out. One group of people will not vote because they forget since they are too busy playing/thinking about Halo 4. While another group will vote because Halo 4 will get them out of the house, if it had not they would probably not care enough to or are too lazy to go out and vote.
