Think this hasn't been posted before:



Rayman Legends was on track to be a launch release for the Wii U in Europe, but Ubisoft has moved it back to Q1 of 2013, which we suppose keeps it inside Nintendo's ridiculous six-month "launch window."

"Rayman Legends will launch worldwide in the first quarter of 2013," Ubisoft told Videogamer. "We're happy that fans are excited about the game, and we are taking the time to make sure we deliver a game that lives up to and hopefully exceeds their expectations. We'll have more details to share soon."

Well, I suppose they didn't want to compete with NSMBU. That's understandable. Personally I think this game looks better than NSMBU, but Mario is a behemoth sales wise. I wish I could play this at launch, but it will give me something fun to play along Pikmin in the spring.

I don't mind. I want so many games at launch that I can't buy them all. So this game launching later will give me the chance to play other games :)

Well the way it's looking with pre-orders and ebay opportunists I won't get my hands on a WiiU until next year anyway. By the time I'm done with mario and zombie it will be out.
Better then staring at the Zelda TP box for 3 months before I could finally find a Wii to play it on :/

Yeah. It would be silly to release during holidays, the biggest gifts giving holidays.

Nintendo's "6 month launch window". November the 18th till march the 31st is 4 and a half months. You have Distorted the facts to try and have a mild dig at nintendo or you are simply atrocious at maths, which one is it?

nice (for me). as this is only game i really want on wiiU i welcome the delay. this hopefully means that the ps4/xbox720 get announced before i'm tempted to go out and buy the wrong next gen console for me.
