Meh, i'm out of the group then. I have all the preparations needed for the Witch Doctor and how I'm going to set up my skills, and I'm not moving out of that plan

no no fine, ill be the barb. you squishies gunna need someone who can tank

Pfft, tank. You're just gonna whirlwind all over the place won't you?

The great thing about being up close is that the drops happen right next to me ^_^

I have a friend who'd like to play too. We hang out and play league sometimes, he's frankenfran, new member. He wants to monk.

I heard some crazy rumour about the drops being unique to each player (no loot stealing). Did someone lie to me?

WAHT FOR REALZZ!!??!

Loot stealing is the basis of Diablo!

Ah that's it guys, Blizzard is finished, 0/10, gg, casual shit.

That actually sounds pretty great, I hope that's how it is.

Yeah, each loot is unique to every class, so no more ninja loot

I never got into Diablo before and I'm really trying to save up for the Wii U, but damn am I really contemplating on getting the CE of this game just from how fun this game looks.

WIi U is a long way off, you'll need something to play in the meantime

I really don't want to give my soul away to Blizzard again. It took me 3 years to cut away from WoW and I have now just adjusted to sunlight.

At least with Diablo, you don't have to pay monthly for the soul stealing.

Classes - Barbarian

Description (shamelessly stolen from Blizzard's site)

Barbarians are savage wanderers who never flinch from close-quarters combat. Mighty ground stomps, leaping attacks and dual-wielded slashes leave a barbarian’s enemies dead in their boots and send any survivors fleeing for cover.

Thanks to their size and strength, barbarians can dominate a melee with nearly any combination of weapon and approach, though they tend towards massive and imposing weaponry. Barbarians are no strangers to the pains of battle, and often fare better in the midst of several opponents, taking and giving cuts, than when attempting to chase down single targets.

Barbarians’ attacks are primarily melee focused. Their quick weapon swings whittle down the number of weaker foes in seconds, while their slower, ground-shaking slams and stomps can send approaching hordes reeling and crack the armor of mightier foes.

Skills (written by me this time)

The barbarian uses Fury as his ressource. Fury is gained by attacking enemies with Primary skills like Bash, Cleave and Frenzy. You also gain Fury by getting damaged (not the best alternative in my opinion).

With Fury you can use Secondary skills which are strong physical attacks, Defensive skills which either boosts your character or impair the enemies, Tactics that will help you gain a better position in a tough fight or just help you be the first one to kick a monster's ass, Might skills which seems to be a little bit of everything and Rage skills which would fit in the total destruction area.

TruckOSaurus Hype Meter

1/5 - I've never been a fan of DII Barbarians and there seems to be a lot of skills that ressemble those of the DII version. I'll still probably try to build one at some point but it'll be after I've tried all the other classes before.

So are we going to play on the same server or what? I know there are a decent amount of Europeans so I suppose we are going to be split up on servers. Can you still choose which server you want to be on for bnet?

Well, going from their past history, i'd say the chances for the servers being region locked is high. Same thing happened for Starcraft II (except for the NZ and Australian regions, which could download the North American launcher).

I still have hope that it won't be the case because there's many European VGChartzers that I'd like to play with. In Starcraft II being placed with people of your region made sense because of the matchmaking but that's not really an issue for Diablo games. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I also hope that they don't use region lock for Diablo III, as there are quite a few people from overseas that I'd like to play with as well, but i'd rather not expect much than to be dissapointed later on. I've had enough dissapointment with the lack of PVP from day one.
