It helps my mental health some how, Where I can't play large or story driven games cause my attention is dog shit the past 9 months but these types of games allow me to sit down for more than a few minutes. They are instantly rewarding, you don't have to waste an hour reloading a checkpoint after zoning out. They just feel good too, like it doesn't matter if it's not skill based, it feels much better than many games of skill and there is engagement here, you need to build craft and slight min maxing going on. It's not like they are completely mindless, just effortless.
