Have been so many occassions that it certainly could have happened but their have been around 40-70 US involvment cases in Latin America alone, sometimes economic pressure worked. Did not always end well. Chile was one of the worst examples. |
So this is easily the best approach anyone has ever taken. They got what they want and only the person everyone despises is any worse for it. Most people are better. I'm not sure if Venezuelans got hurt, I'm sure a few did but still, they are soldiers, that's their duty. No less a marvel. All my life I spent watching the US go into other countries knowing it's to do this job but just lying and failing and keeping the war economy propped up. This is a wonder. I don't understand how people seeing a war and severe loss of life is a bad thing. Will it work twice... hmm.
