That would be the genius of it. Hit Nintendo on launch week, make them look anti consumer. If it's real it is beyond genius for the brand and they stocked enough before tarrifs to make this happen. All thr talk will be about Sony being the saviours of gaming, the heroes fighting for the consumer.
Anyway, they temporarily cut prices on Hardware a few times now, just in October here across Europe. This might be the last time they are able to do it, Probably won't be able to for the holiday sales this year.
