Glad to see the cost of living hasn't impacted many here. I'm blurring the line, I can afford fames but I notice it in some shape or another and I feel more quilty than ever if I'm not being thrifty, I have no trouble buying games and could easily get away with a new game three weeks out of the month with few issues but it would be noticeable right now when I get to payment on other things. Thankfully I'm on a lag and can get away with stocking up on games as they go on sale. Probably exceeded 10 new week one or full price games this generation so far, like I couldn't wait on Wu Kong any longer even though it was months with no sale and just had to drop 69,99 but mostly taking advantage of good discounts and something I don't intend to change only for my most anticipated or highly rated games. I have not nor never will buy a game for more than 80 euro however, even if I want it badly which puts Death Stranding 2 and Ghost of Yotei in a bit of a pickle. I will be looking for physical at 69,99 which is possible still but other wise I don't think I will be able to justify that price, even if it were GTA6... well, maybe GTA6.
I bought KCD2 day one at 69,99 and still haven't gotten into it, yet I've beaten like five or six sale or cheaper games since. If games were still 59,99, the studios would get more money out of me but instead I now snag their games for around 40 or less and my money goes to games like TFB: Khazan day one cause it was a reasonable price. I thought there would be more like me and the AAA industry are going to ruin their market with massive losses and big winners but maybe they're fine, maybe the 80 euro game won't be the disaster I'm expecting.
