I looked into the science behind it and it's sort of true but it's far from Jurrasic Park, what they done here. I wouldn't say they brought the Dire wolf back and more the created a new Wolf species resembling the Dire wolf.
I'm very interested in stuff like this but when you think of the ethics of stuff like this it'll really send ya spiralling into a philosophical crisis, especially gene editing in humans.
