Yeaah.... guess what? You pay for that.  Upgrade Packs are what they call them (ei. small patches for games, that others would give out for free).

I have to push back at this point. All the upgrade packs shown in the direct contained substantial upgrades far more than resolution upgrades. They had new modes, additional content, support for new control schemes and so on. That is DLC, just hardware specific DLC.

I have no doubt that Switch games played on Switch 2 see more stable framerate and better resolution (many have dynamic resolutions anyway).
