I need a "new" 3D action game with a solid/unique combat system.

Bought Rise of the Ronin and got it on sale too, I suspect this to hit on some level and satiate the itch although I doubt I'm in for something phenomenal, Team Ninja rarely disappoint. Gonna start it this evening and hope I hope the combat socks me in.
