I think at some point I just stopped being able to get lost in video games the way I used to like 15-20yrs ago, I think the last time I could truly get lost in video games was back in the original Xbox days. I’m just constantly trying to find the next fix I guess, the next game that pulls me in to where I can get lost. Unless a game truly pulls in me I’ll just play through the game in a very streamlined way, going from point to immediate point. It’s actually why I adore Cyberpunk 2077 coz it pulled me in and has still not let go since launch, extremely rare a game holds my attention for this long. |
I'm the same with The Witcher 3. Kingdom come Deliverance has the potential to be THAT game for the both of us it would seem.
