We had 2005, 2010, 2015, 2020 and now 2025 as the speaks of gaming but what would you rate the 9th gen years so far?
This is obviously very subjective and based entirely on what your purchased but all this sort of stuff is highly subjective. Feels free to add as much objectivity as you see fit. Also, feel free to add in cross gen games but make a note that you are. Top rated years of 9th gen, not counting cross gen or Switch...
2020 - 2/10
2021 - 4/10
2022 - 5/10 (Elden Ring really taking a lot a weight here)
2023 - 9/10
2024 - 9/10
Prediction for 2025 - 10/10
2023 was great, I haven't seen a year like that since 2015 nut it just doesn't match 2015's solid 10/10. 2024 held up pretty damn well and all, some of the best games of last year were complete surprises like Stellar Blade. I think 2025, should the games stay on schedule, will be the 8th gens 2015 moment but just a smidge later than expected.
