I just can't get over how good we have it. Since making this thread many more games have been opened up to me on PS5 and it's just swimming with great games. I'm also gonna get a Quest 3s or a third party steam deck, I haven't decided yet. This is the Golden age or at least it was in the 8th gen and we're seeing a great sunset now. Caught up on everything from 2023 that I wanted to apart from Unicorn Overlord and I agree with the consensus that it was or is very close to the best year in gaming. 2025 is looking amazing too, starting out super strong with MH Wilds and Kingdom Come Deliverence 2 with games like Clar obscure, GTA6, Doom DA, Avowed, Indian Jones, Ghost of Yotei, Death Stranding 2 to name just a few. 2024 is no slouch either. Man what a time to be a gamer. Rejoice!
