I was working from my new home in Canada from 2002, online with 6 hour time difference to the main office. Which was actually quite beneficial as I could continue work on finding and fixing bugs that were found during the day back in Holland. Then they had the fixes by the morning (to find more problems) Also since we were expanding to sell our products in NA, it was very useful to have a close perspective on road navigation here. (I worked on GPS navigation)

Downside was, for 2 years I was paying full taxes both in Holland and Canada as my work situation was so new. They hadn't figured out yet where income tax should be taken, so both countries took it at first... (It's the country you live in, Holland reimbursed me after 2 years)

Nice one. It's always good to hear of love blooming on the Battlefield.
