Project Hail Mary was the only example that came to mind when reading the thread heading. Would call it a 10/10 book. Think I need to read Recurrsion since I enjoyed a lot of the media listed. Have not found a good Sci-Fi to listen to since Project Hail Mary. Read a few good Swedish Sci-Fi but nothing on a 10/10 level and also read the book 3 body problem that I liked the ideas in more than the presentation, have yet to watch the series.
I think the first season of Westworld might be a contender. Also really like Arcane when it comes to TV-series. A few of the episodes of Black Mirror is great as well.
Nolans Interstellar and for me Tenet are worth a mention in the movie department. The script for Tenet have a lot of flaws, mainly the interactions and motives of the villain, but some of the things in Tenet are so well executed that it is as mind boggling as the premise. Arrival is another great Sci Fi with an interesting take and focus on the alien first contact premise. I also really liked Passengers

Oh man, Recurrsion is insanely good. It's from the same author who done Dark Matter (pretty good audible listen) which was turned into a TV show on Apple plus. Recurssion is on a different level though, it takes a lot to blow my mind but this went hard. I only wish I had bought the paper back and not listened on audible so I could have savoured the experience more. The listen had me lying down with my eyes closed cause I was so into it.
Oh and more examples I forgot. Tenet is a 10/10 but it takes two watches for it to reach that level, First watching was like an 8 of 10 or so. Weird how that works.
