I bought a 360 elite (after my originals had RRoD and were binned) to play Alan Wake back in the day, nothing else interested me that I couldn't play on PS3. I also bought a Switch to play Breath of The Wild alone, ended up liking Fire Eblem Three Houses more but BoTW was the one that got me in the door.
The only thing on PS5/XSX that is released right now that would move me to the systems is Baldurs Gate 3. With GTA6 coming it's a different story. If my PS4 PRO wasn't overheating with newer cross gen games and I wasn't forced to, Id be upgrading for Baldurs Gate 3 alone with the other games being a nice plus.
Anyone else foolish enough to buy a console based on one or two exclusives?
