The Witcher 3 never gets old, gets better every time you play it. I'd be doing a run now if I didn't wanna deal with the depression that comes after having to hang up the game.

Witcher 3 is like an eight course meal with a lot of replayability:

Drinks: White Orchard/Palace

Soup: Velen

Appetizer: Novigrad

Salad: Skellige

Whisky: Kaer Morhen

Main Course: Climactic stuff from Battle of Kaer Morhen through to the end of the main game.

Dessert: Hearts of Stone

Post meal drinks & finger foods: Blood and Wine (the blood part tastes a lot better than it sounds).

I spend WAY more time on that last part than most people do. I tend to go through the earlier stuff fairly swiftly, lots of leftovers, but get very thorough when it comes to dessert and post meal drinks.

Great analogy. Some of the best quests are in the DLC's indeed but I do Love Skellige, the quest with the baby and the fire, the poor cursed werewolf who's food turn to Ash in his mouth and even the little stuff like the monks vow of silence. God that game is absolutely superb it still amazes me and it'll be ten years old in May. 😟
