How do you deal with having to give up/rage quit on a game?

This is easily answered when a game is shit, glitched or badly designed in the spot you're quitting from but what about a game that's half decent or even good, a game you're enjoying. How do you feel?

I got to a boss at the late game of Lies of P, one that is so much more difficult and cheap, than any boss before it, that I rage quit. Like we're talking a shear vertical cliff here, in difficulty spiking. First time I think I have ever rage quit a game and made the determined decision to not go back. Now I feel depressed, angry, resentful and a whole other host of emotions. 

EDIT: I went back and beat the boss. I am pain.
