So, the most important takeaway is: Nintendo just secured that Switch will 2021 sell even more than 2020! Which is incredible. because 2020 already was a bonkers year for Switch. If Switch is peaking in 2021, it really has a shot at PS2 and DS in the end.
Also I am kinda amused by the reactions. People created rumours about a more powerful Switch model basically the moment the original Switch dropped. Because no company can really make an underpowered product like this in 2017! But now we have 2021, and sales still don't slow down. And now people are upset, because the ridiculous rumours they decided to believe aren't true.
And right there the thread is full of people that never intended to purchase a Switch in the first place declaring openly that *now* they won't get one. Hilarious. But despite all this internet anger on Twitter and in forums, Switch will go on selling, because people just simply enjoy playing with the thing, and now got more options to do so. Nice!
Ah yes, the ridiculous believe in a Switch Pro is now instantly replaced with the ridiculous believe that Nintendo will pretty soon replace their extremely successful device. I guess we will see.
