Edit: and yeah Rol it is true. It's always daytime and sunny in Skyward Sword (despite there being a cloud barrier in the sky (????)). Since the gameplay is limited and linear, they decided to make it always look pretty instead of having weather in the game. Night-time only exists in the game if you sleep on a bed in Skyloft, and is limited to only three islands if I recall correctly.
