I was just browsing through the database and I stumbled upon this...Here's the global hardware chart for the week ending 23rd December 2006:

Pretty unbelievable! What was it like being a playstation fan back in those days seeing that?! It must've looked like there was no hope for the PS3. It's actually pretty amazing how Sony went from this to where they are today!
My prediction threads:
Wii U will sell under 40m units (made on 14th September 2012)
PS Vita will sell under 20m units (made on 30th September 2012)
Wii U will sell under 7m in 2013 - I was right
