It's amazing that the PS3 isn't ahead of the X360 considering the PS2 had over 75% console marketshare! The 360 is a beast!

one gen doesn't guarantee the next, ps3 is monster it will end up outseling the gen leader and second place for multiple years, all that after launching at 600$, i had to get 3 jobs to buy one, it's crazy, it's a miracle Sony is saved

No matter what way you look at it, Sony lost nearly 50% of their marketshare this gen (77% for PS2 --> 29% for PS3) and the PS3 is one of their biggest ever failures as a company
