Should Nintendo have dropped the 'Wii' name from its next-gen console?

It's the general consensus I get from people about it. They bought it for xmas, played it for a few hours/days, and then regretted buying it.

I could ask all the people who bought it in my family (AKA everyone) and they would say that they liked it for those first/only two hours that they played it.

I'm sure they did. My point is, did they feel it was a waste of money given how little they used it?
