Salnax said: Dillon's made a decent start. Despite the game's critically mixed reception, he seems to be developing a fanbase. If the game is a big enough hit in the long run, a full retail title might be in order. If not, a sequel would do. Based on what I've heard about the game, it should do the following Keep: The bang for the buck, the art style, exploration, combat Add: A Tutorial, Multiplayer, Control options, More Variety in mission structure Remove: The grinding for resources (perhaps harvesting should be automated?) Ultimately, I believe Dillon can succeed if Vanpool masters its blend of exploration, tower defense, and combat. But he's not there yet. |
Multiplayer would be cool. This game should work great in cooperative mode, to fight off the monsters - and at the same time compete over more points or crystals. I like the search for crystals, so I wouldn't remove that. But it would be OK, if the mines itself are removed, and crystals can only be harvested by fighting monsters.
