I didn't see that video until now. I don't like dual analog either, played MW and RE5 with a friend on Xbox and my aim is worse*. The thing is, this is Nintendo aiming for the consumer who doesn't like the wiimote, who likes dual analog, this is Wii U. It's trying to have both Wii players and competing console players. It depends on the developer like Rohin has said, so they could have wii controls along side it, this is similar to other Wii shooters which have classic control options (maybe it's "backwards"). Everyone is focusing on the new controller, so all main interactions come from it, we just need announcements from developers.
While typing this I noticed, that Nintendo's new controller may seem backwards at first. With it's "hardcore" orientation (dual analog, lots of buttons, triggers), but if you saw the other uses during their presentation video you see it can have a "casual" orientation also, meaning the controller is going to be used the fusion of both. There might be bigger third-party support this time(with hopefully wiimote support), so they finally might support the "Wii" at last.
*Site story: We both had problems in RE5, there was a section you are in a rotating platform and had to shoot enemies at the distance... we used up all our ammo and enemies where still standing due to our bad aim.
