Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Best Launch Trailer EVER. EPIC!

It is a nice trailer. But what does it matter when it cannot beat the BEST LAUNCH TRAILER REACTION EVER!!!

But seriously, I hope we have a lot of this kind of moments at this year E3. I think it's going to be a great year for all gaming consoles.

1   2   3  not only you and me.

Livin' in sin is the new thing.

Looks like a great RPG. But since it does not have a classical fantasy setting, it can't be the greatest RPG ever made.

I LOVE ICELAND!

I actually think it is kinda cheesy, a lot of cliched use of hooks and one-liners.

hey guys do i need to know stuff about mass effect 1 to play mass effect 2?? and yeah this trailer is sooo ownage!! :D

Yes, definitely. Mass Effect 2 starts like immediately after the end of Mass Effect and follows a completely continuous plot. It would be confusing and big spoilers if you played it without playing the first game.

This is why i hate ME2. I have to suffer through ME1 to be able to play ME2 :( I somewhat already know what happens in ME1, atleast one of the big twists and turns, but im not too familiar with the overal story. And ME2 as i understand has improved on all aspects of what people thought was bad with the first one. And ME2 seems to be more of a shooter aswell which is a good thing. But i've tried to play ME1 about 4 times, but i never get any further than after my first galactic travel part thingy :(

If you didn't like Mass Effect I doubt you will like the sequel. The gameplay is the same just updated a bit, the story is a continuation of the first so if ME's story wasn't enough to keep you going this one's story likely won't either. The graphical hiccups have been ironed out but that shouldn't have been enough to stop you from enjoying the game. They really didn't happen that often anyway.

Like i said.. i dont have any hard knowledge of the story, but from what i've heard its great. And the graphics was never an issue.

My main complaint about the game is the shooting is uninteresting and has no feel to it. The elevators, the travel, the sidemissions are "useless" and the RPG UI and other elements aren't that smooth. The localization on ingame maps could've been alot better. BUT... as i understand it. Elevators are gone, travel and loading times improved. Its become more shooter oriented and the story looks epic. So i disagree with you. I think i'll enjoy ME2 much more than ME1. But, then again.. i feel like i have to finish ME1 before i venture into ME2. And i really dont want to :S

They just showed this during the final minutes of this gripping NFC Championship game. In its entirety. You know EA paid a huge chunk for that, but can you think of the audience that saw it?

Only thing missing, strangely, was the usual Xbox 360 branding at the end . . .

Haha, I like how he said we'd like to show you another world on the Gamecube at the beginning. Though the majority of people who have/played Zelda:TP have the Wii version.

@Darth Tigris: Damn, they showed it during the NFC Championship game? That was a pretty good move by EA, it should give it more exposure. The branding might be missing because it's releasing on the PC at the same time (unlike with ME1).

Me since the games were revealed, the fanboys since E3."

Indeed. For the kind of ad-time costs championship games have I would guess that single spot cost them well over $1 million dollars. I also think it's interesting that it's not getting the Xbox 360 branding. I suppose MS just didn't pay for it. Generally when a game is branded for "Plays best on 360" or shows the 360 logo on the end it's cause Microsoft offered to pay part of the ad budget.

Ahhh, that might be it.  All of the other ME commercials I've seen have the branding, but this didn't.  But it makes sense that this might have been something that EA paid for all by themselves.

It is the best RPG ever made. And that was just from me dreaming of playing the game.

I am lonely.

And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... And this Nintendo DS. - The PS4, this Xbox 360, and the Gaming PC, and the PS3's, and that's all *I* need. And that's *all* I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one... I need this. - The Gaming PC and PS4, and Xbox 360, and thePS3's . Well what are you looking at? What do you think I'm some kind of a jerk or something! - And this. That's all I need.

Obligatory dick measuring Gaming Laptop Specs: Sager NP8270-GTX: 17.3" FULL HD (1920X1080) LED Matte LC, nVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M, Intel Core i7-4700MQ, 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3, 750GB SATA II 3GB/s 7,200 RPM Hard Drive

Played it on PC today and what can i say. I couldn't get into the first one but this is really good. Story is way more engaging from the start, and everything just feels better all around.
