Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Will Nintendo Fans have a dry year for 2011??

It is far too early to tell. Yeah, it won't be able to live up to Galaxy 2, Other M, and Zelda. But I'm sure there is going to be something decent in 2011. I, for one, am looking forward to Pikmin 3.

2011, I believe Project Sora's game comes then? That'll be epic. Also Retros game and Pikmin 3 could come. That year would be great.

2011? Project Sora's game, Retro Studios Game, Pikmin 3, maybe....Dragon Quest X? (if not, it will be released on 2012). Nintendo still have some bullets to shoot in 2011.

"Pier was a chef, a gifted and respected chef who made millions selling his dishes to the residents of New York City and Boston, he even had a famous jingle playing in those cities that everyone knew by heart. He also had a restaurant in Los Angeles, but not expecting LA to have such a massive population he only used his name on that restaurant and left it to his least capable and cheapest chefs. While his New York restaurant sold kobe beef for $100 and his Boston restaurant sold lobster for $50, his LA restaurant sold cheap hotdogs for $30. Initially these hot dogs sold fairly well because residents of los angeles were starving for good food and hoped that the famous name would denote a high quality, but most were disappointed with what they ate. Seeing the success of his cheap hot dogs in LA, Pier thought "why bother giving Los Angeles quality meats when I can oversell them on cheap hotdogs forever, and since I don't care about the product anyways, why bother advertising them? So Pier continued to only sell cheap hotdogs in LA and was surprised to see that they no longer sold. Pier's conclusion? Residents of Los Angeles don't like food."

Pikmin 3, Sora, and StarFox. Possibly a new Fire Emblem (we'll be due by then). 2011 should be fine.

As much as I would love that to be true, I don't think it is gonna happen.

Oh, if only you were right...

Fire Emblem - 2003

Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones - 2005

Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance - 2005

Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn - 2007

Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon - 2009

I'd say we're due for some kind of FE by the end of 2011. Not sure I'd care to wager whether it'll be on Wii or DS, though.

I don't think so, as I think we'll here more from ninty as we aproach the end of this year, and I think(hope) third parties will release good games next year.

tag:"reviews only matter for the real hardcore gamer"

2011- Pikmin 3, Starfox, F-Zero, Pilotwings?

It may seem like a dry year maybe because they haven't announced their future games 4 years ago?

Dragon Quest X. 'nuff said.
