So yh many people have been saying modern warfare 2 looks better then Killzone 2. And then they draw the concolusion that because MW 2 looks better on the 360 that the 360 now is the grphics king of the HD consoles.

So me being the unbiased fare person i am decided to make a graphics comp between KZ2 and MW2. So let the beating commence ;)

These pics are a mix of online and campaign gameplay so if some shots dont look up to par it may be because it is the online section.

Asa you can see Killzone 2 shits all over Modern warfare.

To be honest i didnt think the gap between the two games would be so big.

NOTICE nearly all of the killzone 2 shots are from the online segment whilst all the Modern Warfare 2 screens are from the campaign

i have a ps3 and 360, so i have played mw2 on both systems, 360 IS NOT BETTER THEN THE PS3 ON MW2, if anything the ps3 looks better, the 360 fans want the 360 to have better graphics so bad there biased, im not i have both play both and like both. as for killzone 2, sorry it still is the graphic king of fps on a console. mw2 looks great but not quit there., bad company 2 with the frostbit engine on steroids will look better then mw2.

I think you cant actually show on pics how good Killzone 2 really looks it sjust so much action detail and the textures are great the difference is the biggest between MW2 and Kz2 if you look at the Ground. the ground in Killzone 2 is just great.

The lightning Its definatly a big difference between MW2 and Kz2 even bigger then you can see on the Pics. Killzone is just so polished and Mw2 is just so standard with some more details.

If you played Killzone2 a lot and get used to the graphics as I did and then you put in resistance. resistance is seems like a PS2 Game. Killzone is true Next Gen graphic. And Uncharted can top that even everbody who truly believes that MW2 has the better Graphic has never played Killzone 2. I like the setting but even people who dont liked the setting had to admit how good it looks and Uncharted 2 totaly has blown them away. And the last Heavy rain pics indicate that they will top that even until Uncharted 3 and killzone 3 comes.

If they continue maxing out the PS3 like the PS2 which they maxed out with Final Fantasy 12 imo then we still havent seen the maximum I bet they can make even better graphics in 2010/2011.

sorry for the double post, put the ps3 version of mw2 looks much better, then the 360 version, if you think different play the ps3 version, i have played both, ps3 clear winner.

Those Screenshots do KZ2 no justice.

I think KZ2 looks a little better, but they're hard to compare..yeah both FPS, but the settings for the games are worlds apart (literally..), so it's not like you can compare tree shot to tree shot, city street to city street, etc.

Also, I don't see a big difference in the MW2 from PS3 to 360. There are only 2 noticable differences in the pictures posted above between the 2 consoles. One 360 picture has smoke coming out of a house where the PS3 version doesn't (possibly taken at different points in the timeline), and the 360 version in almost every picture has the sunlight looking super-duper bright. I don't really see that as an advantage in graphics..but w/e. I got it on 360 and got it for the multiplayer only where graphics are never quite as good as campaign, so I could care less.

Also, as has been said many times before me - comparing screen shots is a horrible way to compare graphics. They simply don't look the same in screen shots as they do in motion, and that's just an undeniable fact of video gaming.

Killzone 2 does look massively better, but in terms of gameplay, CoD does have the edge

Having played both, theres no Bloom on PS3, which is "IMO" not a big deal. Other than that they are practically identical. No "clear" winner as people usually want to believe.

I find MW2 more pleasing to my eyes than Killzone 2 even though I acknowledge its an inferior game on a technicall level, except for the models of the characters faces. Neither sucks btw.
