I think MW2 looks more appealing in those screenshots.

Killzone 2 has a bad art direction.

In terms of gameplay and graphics, KZ2 wins.

What the hell did you do to the 360 MW screenshots? Every other site shows the 360 being better but the PS3 screen shots looks so much clearer on those.
Also MW is no where near KZ2 when your playing it.

But to say "it's no contest." shows your own bias as well. As I stated earlier, I prefer the look of Call of Duty over Killzone 2, it's a personal preference thing. My minds eye says "This looks better" because I like the environments, set peices and color palatte more. It's completely subjective. Yes, the textures are better, the particle effects are better, the AA is better in Killzone 2, but that doesn't mean that it will "look better" to everyone. For me Killzone 2 was beaten already by Resistance 2 and Uncharted 1 on the PS3 and Gears 2 on the 360, because I like them better. You can't say something like the bolded above and then talk about other people's "fanboy goggles" without admitting that you yourself are looking through Sony colored glasses.

That's not even within the realm of opinion. Did you play R2 on a 50 inch full HD TV and KZ2 on a 1980 10" monitor or something?

Trust me....for what it is I also enjoyed MW2's graphics and gameplay more as well. KZ2 technically has better graphics, but theres just something about a real war and the lighting and graphics displayed and getting into the thick of it that puts MW2 on top. I have played MW2 and KZ2 on a 50 inch.  They all look great, but again....those games cannot even compare to MW2. MW2 is currently the best FPS the PS3's got and probably will continue to be until Infiintiy ward decide to make a MW3.

Resistance 2, on the other hand, looks dreadful.

Resistance 2 hater strikes again

I can just about accept some people liking the game.

The graphics are about as visually appealing as Susan Boyle (who is a great singer).

360 fanboys and some 360 owners cant stand KZ2 graphics. its eating them alive, so every new console exclusive and multiplatform game that looks SLIGHTLY better on 360 have better graphics than KZ2

RE2 runs at 60 FPS, so its pretty good

I'm assuming the reason you made this thread was to try to make 360 owners jealous? Unfortunately we aren't. We have the best shooters. You can go on about graphics all day if you like but it doesn't make it a better game. I'm sure Killzone has its moments but compared to MW2 it is garbage. The Halo series is better and yes so is Gears of War.
So please from this day forward save your PS3 arguments for areas where it shines. Games like MGS4, Uncharted, and GOW3 for instance. Leave the FPS's for the big boys on the 360 side of things. The 360 was built from the ground up for FPS's starting with the controller.
