A game series so ball bustingly awesome it deserves to be written in all caps.

Of course gentleman I assume you've seen the trailer for the mechwarrior reboot coming out (hopefully) in the near future:

So any old mechwarriors on these forums? Any news on when Mechwarrior 4 will be released as freeware?

I love this series, sadly I'm afraid this will go to consoles as well which means the game will be utterly broken. How are you supposed to control the mech properly with only 8 buttons?

Mechwarrior has always been awesome.

*Yawn* I'll stick with Armored Core, Steel Batallion and FM Gunhazard thanks. Atleast the mecha in those games don't look like walking garbage cans. Oh, and Chromehounds as well, the online campaign was incredible.

You are crazy......mechwarrior is by far the best mech game around........the J man is damn excited for this.

How can you even think that armored core was even remotely close to Mechwarrior... obviously you haven't played any of those games.

I forget which one I played as a wee lad on the PC, but it was insanely awesome. Then I played the one on SNES, which was completely different and simplified due to the limited buttons, but I still had a lot of fun with it. Then I went to Virtual World, went back in time, and fought in a real mech. It was amazing.
