yeah, that seems likely, but those tests can be socially biased, even so i got a 1480(i think) on my SATs in '97... as for IQ, on those online tests i normally score 140+... but on an actual facilitated test i took i scored a 138, so those online tests seem just about as accurate as a clinical test, but obviously not as thorough.

IQ tests are extremely poor indicators of future success. people who get stuck thinking they're smarter than others will become failures.
work ethics is much, much, much more important.
there's a threshold of intelligence you need, of course. a person with an 80 IQ probably just won't outdo a person with a 120 IQ under normal circumstances.
but a 120 IQ vs a 140 IQ... it comes down to work ethics, hardiness, will and desire to learn and improve, etc. trust me on this--everybody around me should most likely have IQ > 120, and beyond that point, success is all about how you manage the other aspects.

I did the national IQ test made by the CBC (Canadian broadcaster) last fall and I ended up with an IQ of 128. Not so bad for a test in English while my firts language is French^^ And usually, online test give me something above 130...
Lol, I read the IQ of the people in this thread..............Or the test that were taken where really incomplete or VG charts has a lot of Genius ^^ Only 4% (I'm not quite sure about the exact number) of the population is above 130.

My IQ is 146. However, IQ doesn't measure how smart you are. It measures how smart you are capable of being. That is why you can meet people with an unusually high IQ yet they aren't that smart. It measures potential.
Most IQ tests (especially those found online) are not accurate, though. My IQ could very well be higher than 146 and just the same it could be lower. There is no end to knowledge. They say the smartest person alive is a person willing to admit he knows nothing. In other words, you can't know everything.
As much as I like VGChartz, I must be honest. I'm not too interested in the community. Most (I'd say a good 70% of the people here) are too caught up in the fanboyism and politics of gaming, and are mostly just people waiting to ravenously insult another user on the forums. I tried participating in the forums but rather than discuss it seems most of you would rather tear other people down. Why is it necessary to insult everyone who thinks differently than you? Also, not everything here is a fanboy conspiracy. I see the word fanboy here than I do on most forums out there. I'm sorry, I don't want to be a part of a community that's so negative towards everyone all the time. I'd rather go to a place where the people of a forum are more willing to discuss and step away from personal attacks any time someone disagrees with them. I just can't take it anymore.
So I ask, respectfully, that you don't add me. I'll more than likely respond to respectful messages but don't count on me being on the forums too much and don't count on me accepting your friend request.
