I remember one time I was talking to one person on these forums trying to prove that neither the ps3 or 360 had a better line up than the other in 2008 and that it was preferences that made you think which one was better. Then some crazy ps3 fanboy says , "stop spreading your BS around , ps3 had the better line up ITS A FACT!!!!!!!!"(condensed version)

There is no such thing as 360/ps3 fanboys , just fanboys.

I asked why are Sony fans so aggressive ... in my OP I didn't actually say they were worse (although they are) I just said I don't remember xbox fans being that bad back in 2008. Maybe they were? I really don't remember.

Sony fanboys: You're coming last. You can't blame anyone other than Sony. Clearly they knew what they were doing when they made the CELL and pushed blu-ray, they knew the sacrifice. They knew this generation might not go down well, they've spent A LOT of money on their future (CELL and pushing blu-ray), that's why they've only locked down certain exclusives and not others.Who's blaming anyone else. Or rhather, who's blaming? As you say, they knew the sacrifice and many of us believe it was worth it. Those sacrifices are the reasons that this console is well worth the money and future-proof, yet it delivers now. That is true for most PS3 owners. What pisses us off is when non-PS3 owners say it doesn't.


You can blame Microsoft all you want, but the reality is, Sony pushed the most expensive console (history tells us most expensive never comes first), Sony didn't secure 3rd party exclusive titles (they were happy to in the PS1 days), Sony didn't bring the PS3 out first they waited for MS to launch and they haven't given the PS3 a price cut.

Also, you can claim that the 1 year head start is the sole reason the 360 is in the lead. You can claim that a price cut will bring about the resurgence of the PS3. You can claim that GT5 will turn it around.


But reality is:
- Sony hasn't made up anything on that 1 year head start, over 2 years later.Not exactly true, ignores unexpected world economic problems. It was well on it's way a year ago. We believe it will be on it's way again one day. 

- Sony hasn't given the PS3 a price cut. Face it. IT HASN'T HAPPENED YET. WE DON'T KNOW WHEN IT'LL HAPPEN, SO DON'T RELY ON IT.Not true. There was a price-cut. There will be others.
- Gran Turismo 5 hasn't dropped yet, we don't even have a solid release date.

My advice: Man up and take it, Sony fanboys. Nintendo's fanboys have copped it for 2 generations and they didn't make this big of a fuss over it. Wait your time, Sony may be selfish, ignorant and money hungry, but they aren't stupid, they'll be back next generation with a much more cost effective console (CELL in some shape or form and blu-ray already in) and it'll be a much bigger force. Until then, appreciate what Sega, Atari, Nintendo fans have had to go through (partly) thanks to your abuse/taunts.Or maybe we won't take it, cause many of the things said ain't true, and that pisses us off.

well in homeland of sony fanboys - poland, you're often immediately banned even from biggest gaming sites(not sony related but overall gaming/console sites) if you write something that is not pleasant about sony in coments or forum while at the same sites and forums you can read 100+ posts threads trashing nintendo games/consoles.
you can simply write that Super Mario Galaxy is the worst game ever and write about it 3 pages of trolling rant about it calling wii in 20 different versions of F-word and S-word and you will get 100 posts of aproval and for every posts proving the guy wrong with normal arguments you will get 20 posts bashing that user(even from administrators and owners of this "gaming sites") that will end with banning that user and calling him a troll.
at the same time write that some ps3 exclusive was boring or you are just disappointed in somethin and you are banned after 200+posts proving that you're wrong just because it's a ps3 game and you should be overjoyed even if the game is as good and fun as sticking your face in the horse poo.

heck i was banned from one of the biggest polish gaming sites that also is part of the biggest magazine about console games in poland just because i proved editors of this site that they not only can't uderstand simple english words, but also they were making SDF articles look like from IGN. it was basically about 2008 earnings when they not only used sonys revenue as profit, but also called ps3 most profitable platform ever. heck they even give 50 Cent: Blood in the Sand 8/10 and 7/10 to Wheelman(they not only praised driving mechanics but also low difficulty level). calling wii as kiddie console and every possible wii game as showelwere party game in every nintendo related news is already normal there. another big polish gaming site made review of Star Wars: Force Unleashed based on demo version caling there wii version simply "shit"(best part is that they didn't have a chance to even play wii version).

so if anyone have problem with ps3 fans on vgchartz they should see what is going on in my country. polish sony fanboys makes neogafers look like hardcore nintendo fanboys.

1. Never said I don´t like the PS3, U just proved my point by not doing your research. I like the PS3 fine exxcept for the price some of my all time favorite games comes from Sony PS family. Just because I like the PS 3 doesn´t mean that the stuff that is negative isn´t true. U see unlike you I can accept the fuck ups Sony has done and still enjoy their games.

I intentionally didn´t write any of the fucked up things they have done stating with the PS 1 and their backstabbing everyone in the industry to the fuckups they have done to this day wether that be through actions or bullshit PR, that is the thing that drives Sony hate people haven´t forgotten the past and they get infuriated when Sony PR bullshit continues.

2. Truth should mutter to all fans no mutter who they route for.

Good for you defendign your self but don´t you think it would be easier and beter to do that based on the truth and not the bullshit that goes around today?
