Sony: they are awfully slow releasing things, they do not accept international VISAs, ps3 was to expensive. the lack of vision for home or the PSN (thats changing with sony online though but i still dont have access with it, without accepting my visa!). xgame chat should have implemeted along time ago! in 3.00 same for ps2 emulation (even it's not perfect should be there in a way even it's just a VGA Box with no upscaling or antialiasing.

Nintendo: the lack of zelda, their main focus on profits, and small support their core gaming while it's there it have taken sec-third on their importance list and halting features like their online and VC store.
while i think profits are important they are making billions!, billions they have done too little to improve those features.
as for development the wii it's to console gaming what intel integrated graphics are to PC, they are chip to produce and kinda does the job, but going too cheap have cost them third party to put their games in other consoles and release just casual games mainly (like flash games for PC). Except PC doesn't have nintendo games. while the fun factor it's there, they could have spec the wii better, so they could at least get ports, and still be able to profit and some way slowing down the adoption of HD games.

microsoft: where to start?, in gaming, their lack of first party support, their console exclusives made of third parties (bungie, epic,valve), actually the studios that made their first parties are third party now. their "we are breaking the bank" PR to get third parties isntead of helping them in development, their software and hardware reliability it's lowest in the industry.

MS:Too many mature games.Way too many for an all-round gamer like me
SONY:The Price of a console & 4 pads & games that have 4 player offline
HD consoles:The over-abundance of FPS games,the reliance on online for good multiplayer most of the time,and the lack of GOOD anime/cartoon based games & 4 player offline games.
Nintendo:The sheer lack of 3rd party support for the wii.Many games now are PS3,360 & DS,not wii!

Sony= Arrogent company, same crappy controller for 3 generations, and the worst fanbase.

MS= RRoD and high price for accesories.

Nintendo= The Wii

Sony: Their arrogance at the start of this gen. They also treat europe like crap even though it is their strongest area and gives them most money (strong euro)

MS: Ridiculously overpriced accessories . WLAN adapter over 70€ (this should be build in) and 120gb HDD over 100€...WTF really? Unreliable hardware (RROD) and charging from online playing.

Nintendo: Overpriced hardware. They also focus too much in casual gaming. (for my taste)

Sony: You copied arrogantly copied the wiimote, now just copy the nunchuk and gimme the best 1:1 punch game ever.

Microsoft: Don Mattrick might be a really nice guy and father/son/neighbour but he acts like a total douchebag on stage. Someone just give him another job at microsoft and put someone else in his place

Nintendo: Everything needs to be casual friendly right? What about doing that on the online part?

Sony: Stop delaying everything. Oh and DON'T change the controller, it fits perfectly.

MS: Make wireless adapter/hard drive cheaper.

Nintendo: Don't own a wii, so can't comment.

Sony: They never "pushed" the PSeye (just like they did with eyetoy last gen).  Browser should be more flexible and they lost too many exclusives this time around.

Microsoft: Charge a premium for everything (wireless, HDD, and multiplayer), randomly copy everything the competition does and act like they did it first (camera, motion, etc).  Horrible placement of thumb sticks on controller, no first party games, and their lack of support for the original xbox after 2005.

Nintendo: Lack of core games for those of us who are not into wii fit, wii fit plus, wii music, and anything mario.  Great you have a wiimote, but at least allow 'some' games to be used without waggling my friggin' arm off (monster hunter is better because it uses a standard controller).
