Without a doubt. There will be better things than kz2 (which has good graphics but the gameplay is rather laggy at times)

It'll be funny when the next generation of consoles arrive so that we can be all like, "Augh, Killzone 2 and Gears of War 2 hurt my eyes! I can't see anything. It's all so blurry and pixelated!"

I'd tip my hat to the developer that could do it.

I didnt think Guerrilla could even pull off Killzone 2 in its form.

However,I doubt that the 360 could pull off a Killzone 2.

Well I certainly hope MS will pass KZ2 graphically.
It would be terrible for the HD game market to stagnate at any level.
I only wish these HD companies would compete on the gameplay in the same way they're doing for graphics

Although, PS3 already has games currently in development that will surpass KZ2.

I'd hope the xbox can surpass Killzone in the next few years since developers learn more as they develop games. I'm not sure why Microsoft would have to comment on that. If they can't make better graphics then they aren'y trying. Look at the NES and how far it came along until its end. Battletoads had some of the best graphics and the tower level looked 3d and even had the apperance of it being rotated. Microsoft should not worry about Killzone but God of War III which looks amazing from GI's pics this month. Its going to be the best looking game of this generation when it comes out.

Microsoft made the proper response: congratulated a competitor with a job well done, but ended something like "we'll do something better". That's competition.

I personally don't care about graphics, Nintendo is the better model to follow so I want at least 3 10M+ games by the end of the generation please! Sony can have the graphics trophies, so long as Microsoft gets the sales awards and babes.
