ROFLOL...when sony fanboy want to post stuff like this, and 360 is beating it by nearly 100K BEFORE the holiday shopping begins in earnest, one has to wonder. Blah Blah Blah...NXE is causing RROD....Blah Blah Blah. This is getting so tired, but HEY, if you get a RROD, go buy a Shiny new 360 for $199 with free games!

While I think you will get warning from this post. I agree with you, Impulsivity comes off as a huge fanboy majority of time. Also PSN updates have killed Ps3s, and I never seen him ever commenting on that.

Every firmware update has problems. There has been worse 360 updates that caused more problems. And Sony's 2.0 update caused more bricks than NXE. Overall I think the update went very well. There was problems accessing marketplace and netflix, but those problems seem to be resolved.

360 has had it's problems, but I think you are picking a straws trying to find problems when they seem to be rare in NXE's case. Yes there is threads on the xbox.com forums, but they are only a couple of pages long. There is 22 million 360's out there. If the problem was wide spread it would be hundreds of pages long.

Remember how there were a ton of 360s that RRODed from release and MS pretended the problem didn't exist for over a year? Remember how people said those who talked about the RROD were crackpots and liars?

It's not like there's some great track record for the 360 that makes the idea that a bunch of RRODs could happen when they updated the software is not believable. I REALLY doubt that releasing the NXE right after warranties ran out was a coincidence either.

 

    As to whoever made the 360 sales point earlier....you know the Ford Pinto sold a lot too even though the gas tank occasionally exploded (which Ford lied about for years)....just sayin...
