It usually takes months to approve accounts. Reason being they search the net for your username, email, etc. to see how you've behaved on other forums, etc. You cannot sign up with a free email account (AOL, Hotmail, Yahoo, MSN, etc). I think its pretty ridiculous. Once again, I think the mods at GAF censor what their users say. If you say anything other than what the mods believe, you will be banned. Modern day internet Nazis, if you will.

I know that and thats why I had to use my college email address just to sign up. It's sad they have to do that and seeing how here ioi and several other mods just do what they do when they encounter suspious behavior from certain mods. There they have a more strict system. You would of thought they were the only best forum ever created and they are NOT!

Vgchartz.com seriously is the best forum for talking about video games. They have 3 sections neatley organized on the front page, very intelligent posters, numbers are updated through out the week to keep things fresh. I have accounts at gamefaqs and 1up and both of those message boards suck. At 1up it seems everyone on the forums does their best to be sarcastic, negative, or just flatout dicks. Gamefaqs is unorganized and has very immature posters. Example: Poster posts positive ps3 info int the ps3 section and almost everyone ine the forum calls him a troll.

Also the fact that we can add friends here, have our own profile about what our faorite thing is and what not is real good for building a strong community and such. Best game website bar none vgchartz is.

that new york times article is really screwy,
it actually faults the wii for not having many games that reach 30-40 percent attach rate, so the ps2 was a failure for third parties then? same with the 360, ps3, and well every thing ever
also what is with the irrational hatred of this site on neogaf anyway? Loads of it seems personally directed at Ioi, geez man what'd you do to them, eat their families or something?

Why bother 2 try and convince shio and others like him. We enjoy the site and that is why we are here. The less we pay attention 2 comments like shio's the sooner they will leave and we can get back 2 enjoying our time on vgchartz.
