I can't vote, but Horizon Zero Dawn was awsem! 2017 FTW! The only 2019 game I've played has been Earth Defense Force: Iron Rain which was kind of a letdown. Didn't even finish it before moving on. :(

I think you mean Outer Wilds as opposed to Outer Worlds.

Horizon Zero Dawn!

Earth Defense Force: Iron Rain has gained significant ground. Have to be accurate, specially' since the post is still recent.

Haven't played any of them. Plan on playing Fire Emblem when I go away next month. Resident Evil 2 at some point, maybe next week maybe next year lol.

Oops, thanks for pointing that out early on!

Happy to help. :)

Resident Evil 2 is a masterpiece. FE is very good. Sekiro is awful.

Apex Legends.

Resident Evil 2 Remake is my favorite by far.

It's a bit hard to say. Devil May Cry 5 was amazing and represented a lot of what's to love about gaming. Mario Maker 2 though really took me by surprise, and showed me that I do in fact like 2D Mario. It's even shocking how fun it is to create levels, I find it can be hard to enjoy titles based around user creation when you don't know how to create good content. But Mario Maker makes it very easy and fun. Fire Emblem is still a work in progress. It has a lot of great mechanics, and the battles are always a high point, but the characters seem kind of consistently meh, the story 25 hours in still hasn't really gotten good, and the monastery is a bit of a mixed bag.

Remake 2 and Cadence of Hyrule are still titles I need to pick up, and Sekiro is something I'd like to beat before the end of the year ... even if I'm not looking forward to it. Overall, I'd go with DMC5 so far, with Mario Maker 2 being a close second.

But I think we all know what the true GOTY will be ...

Sekiro then SMM2, played Res 2 and DM5 for maybe an hour each, but never played through it after that since, maybe when the itch comes back.

Nintendo Switch FC: SW-6340-7643-4233 aka Renji

Steam: Lee Roid

Of the list, I guess it'd be Sekiro, I really liked that game tho not as much as to put it in my favorites of the gen. My personal favorite of 2019 so far is Bloodstained.

Steins; Gate Elite.

It's my first contact with Steins; Gate, and having the VN mixed with the anime is amazing.
