Pre Nintendo - 4
Post Nintendo - 6

Well, Nintendo where the only company to even bother this year so maybe 4-6.

"Wheel me out to the curb for garbage day"

E3 will be irrelevant or dead in 3-4 years

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

6 - But only because of all the games Square Enix is bringing in.

Nintendo hit it out of the park with a strong lineup of games that will first and foremost release in 2019, Microsoft underwhelmed and Sony didn't even show up.

This is not who had the best showing. This is about e3 as a whole. So you gave it a 10 even though microsoft underwhelmed and sony didnt show? If you gave a 10 because you dont care about microsoft and sony why even mentioned them

Around the Network

Bethesda - 3/10
Devolver Digital - 8/10
Microsoft - 6/10
Nintendo - 7/10
Square - 7/10
Ubi - 3/10

E3- 5.7/10

Ubisoft and Bethesda were both painful but there are a few from both that seem interesting so I didn't give them 1s. Microsofts was solid for a while but their presentation of Gears and a few mobile games were annoying to me. Square Enix gets props for finally showing off FFVII and had a steady flow of content in their show (even if it was a lot of remasters and rereleases). Devolver was just overall a fun and weird show to watch.

Sony appearing wouldn't help out too much because they won't talk about PS5 yet so we would have only got info on PS4, which is slowing down with exclusives as studios move on to produce for the next gen. That would lead to more 3rd party stage time, which we would then just see trailers that we saw at other conferences.

E3 next year has the potential to be big. We might actually see content/gameplay from Ghostwire, Deathloop, Elder Scrolls and Starfield. Which would improve Ubisoft and Bethesda's conferences. Microsoft will be able to unveil what their newly acquired 1st party studios are up to. And by then, Nintendo should have content for Metroid Prime 4, Bayonetta 3, and Breath of the Wild 2. Square Enix will tease FFVII Episode 2 most likely since Episode 1 is releasing in March.

for me that was the most boring E3....

but it's probably because I'm a PlayStation fanboy

4 out of 10, and that's me being generous

As a whole, 4 or 5 out of 10.

The only good conferences were the indie showcase of KFG and Nintendo's.

Plus Devolver, but that is more for the lore than the games.

I was rating E3 as a whole. It's hard to imagine it being any better in a realistic way than it was.

Legend11 correctly predicted that GTA IV (360+PS3) would outsell SSBB. I was wrong.

5/10 didnt care much for most of it.
Square and Nintendo were fine I guess, but overall i didnt feel it was a interesting E3 for the most part.
