Why does everyone post questions to forums instead of google?

They want to sound like a professional?

I know what price point means, or meant because now suddenly instead of price everyone on tech sites, forums, youtube etc. says price point, it is a new sickness.

There are basically to reasons to use jargon.

- Everyone understands the jargon, so you use it to make it simple to understand what you mean.
- You want to sound clever.

maybe because the teenagers on those sites have finally grown up into adults and want to sound like an adult.

You know developers/publishers throw out buzzwords every generation that forum goers repeat like a child learning a new word.

I believe there was an effort by meat bots (working for Sony or the competition) to push the 600 mark and get the discussion going on that. It would then be fair to say the terminology used, just as the 600 itself among other details, would follow on through to the intended groups who then wage the discussion in mass on various corners of the net. Price point would have been the terminology on the memo sent to the meat bots.
It's all too sudden, too precise yet with so many "random" people on various forums and sites picking up the discussion at the same time with all the precise details. It's incredibly fishy and I reckon it is an over ectention of the price to inflate expectation so that people feel better when it releases at 500. Of course price point might just be q coincidence but the 600 phenomenon in relation to Sony certainly isn't.
I don't blame them for the engineering, it's common practice these days and I'd a viable business strategy on the internet but they shouldn't have been so damn obvious, it makes me have little faith in them now and as if they are testing the waters to see if the need to take a hit on cost or not. It seems to be working to and the conversation is being tightly controlled now and swayed it he direction of people accepting the ridiculous price estimates.

You need to elaborate on this. A simple pic isn't going to cut it.
